Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose the best BRM laser for my application?

By answering three questions, you can make that decision a lot easier. What materials will you be working with? What will you mainly be doing? (Cutting, engraving, or both in equal measure.) What kind of work surface do you need? Once you’ve got a clear picture of this, we’ll provide you with tailored advice to help you choose the very best option.

What materials can I process using a BRM laser?

A BRM laser helps you cut or engrave a wide range of organic materials quickly and effortlessly. From acrylic to hardboard, from wood to textiles and more! The possibilities are virtually endless. Not sure whether your specific material is suitable? Let us test it for you. We’ll do it free of charge. That way, you’ll know straight away whether your application is feasible.

What can’t I process using a laser machine?

Lasers are incredibly versatile, but there are exceptions. When processing certain materials, such as PVC, harmful fumes are released that can be hazardous to health and damage the machine. We therefore advise against using these materials. If in doubt, always ask the manufacturer for the exact composition so that you can be sure the material is suitable.
