Team V - BRM Lasers

Tеаm V is an architectural firm from Amѕtеrdаm specialized in large utility projects, such as train stations, high-rise buildings and other complex structures.

The company has worked on several eye-catching projects, including Rotterdam Central Station, Amsterdam South Station and the HAUT project. Patrick Bil, an engineer who makes scale models for Team V, described the “knife and cutting mat method”, which was previously used. With very little chance of achieving the desired detailed end result.

With the aim of making faster and more accurate models for the organization, Bil started to look for the right cutting and engraving technique suitable for MDF, acrylic and other materials. He researched a large number of manufacturers and products of laser machines. He also requested detailed information and attended demonstrations.
