Glass
By far the most glass we know is so-called float glass. It’s transparent, perfectly flat and available in various thicknesses, hardness’ and finishes. Colored glass is also available, this is obtained by the addition of metals. Figure glass gets a machined surface by allowing it to pass through specific rolls after the oven. After cooling the pattern remains visible. With wire glass, the metal grid is pressed into the hot glass by a roller. Opaline glass is clear glass with a thin layer of milk glass on it. Anti-reflective glass undergoes treatment during the casting process, which negates the reflective effect of the glass.
The best machine to process glass or mirrors is our BRM CO2-laser. Each type of material reacts differently to the impact of the laser beam, so there are hardly any regular guidelines for laser cutting or engraving with a laser machine, but the settings can be adjusted to achieve the best results and meet your specific needs! No design is too complex for a BRM laser machine.
The complete overview of all laser machines will be sent directly to your mailbox.
